This user-guided digital experience helps people see plan recommendations, rates available in their area, and connect to a licensed insurance agent via the phone number listed or by filling out the questionnaire. Be sure to share your unique URL with your Passive groups so they can share it with their people via benefits guides, intranets, etc. *If a group is in the Active solution, they will have their own unique Benefits GPS Medicare education and shopping tool provided by the SmartConnect team.

Co-Branded Assets

These engaging, educational assets are co-branded with your logo, unique SmartConnect phone number, and unique Benefits GPS Tool URL. Passive groups tied to your brokerage will use the assets branded with your brokerage logo. Active groups will be branded with their own logo, phone number, and GPS URL. See HR and Beneficiary section for descriptions of each asset.

Onboarding Profile

This is critical to your client’s SmartConnect experience. Please complete this profile on behalf of each of your clients. Internally, our Account Management team will configure their accounts, send communications, and schedule a solution walkthrough to review best practices.

This provides you and your clients with an overview of SmartConnect services and deliverables. Please attach this resource to the templated email copy we've provided to introduce SmartConnect to HR teams and Benefits admins.

SmartConnect Phone Number

This phone number is unique to your brokerage and is directed to a SmartConnect licensed insurance agent. Passive solution groups tied to your organization will use this same number. If a group is in the Active solution, they will have their own unique phone number. It is important this number is included on all marketing materials to ensure tracking is accurate and tied to your organization.

SmartConnect Story Deck

We designed this short presentation to help you introduce SmartConnect to your groups or clients. It includes suggested talking points and recommendations such as adding your custom QR code and logo. Note: The QR Code is located in your assets files under the HR section.

Checklist

Step 1: Identify Groups

SmartConnect partners with your groups' HR teams, providing Medicare support for employees, their spouses, dependents, friends, and families. We understand implementing SmartConnect within your groups doesn't happen overnight, so we recommend starting with three, then adding more over time.

Step 2: Pitch

We make it easy for you to introduce us! Please use the resources in your "Broker Toolkit" (including the SmartConnect story deck, the SmartConnect Prospectus, and suggested content for introducing us via email). Do not hesitate to contact your Account Manager for assistance presenting our solution to your clients.

Step 3: Onboard

Once your client is ready to get started, simply complete our SmartConnect Onboarding Profile and we'll take it from there! We'll keep you in the loop on all correspondence, we want you to know your clients will be in good hands so you are the hero.

Emails: Partner Outreach

These emails are sent by HR teams to their employees. We provide the recommended content including your unique phone number, Benefits GPS URL, and even provide suggested send dates. These emails are important because they are sent from the company to its employees to build trust in the program. They can be sent using any email service provider.

Phone Number

This phone number is either unique to your associated parent company (Passive solution) or to your organization (Active and Active+ solution) and is directed to a SmartConnect licensed insurance agent. It is important this number is included on all marketing materials or internal communications to ensure tracking is accurate and tied to the corresponding organization — and most importantly, that your people get an optimal experience.

This QR code gives beneficiaries easy access to the Benefits GPS Tool. We recommend including it on any internal communications to employees.

Getting Started Checklist

Step 1: Send partner outreach email #1 - “Introducing SmartConnect to employees”

We recommend sending the "Introducing SmartConnect" email to your employees within the first week of being onboarded. Please be sure to attach the "Introducing SmartConnect" brochure.

Step 2: Add GPS URL and/or QR Code to intranet and benefits materials

This boosts engagement and awareness around our partnership with employees. Remember — we offer Medicare advocacy to all employees, not just those who are Medicare-eligible.

Step 3: Use provided Medicare 101 template and send to all employees

You may have employees that think they've already evaluated their Medicare options and don't need to consider the current benefits of enrolling in Medicare. This guide and video offer an easy-to-understand overview of the potential additional benefits and cost savings they may be missing out on.

Step 4: Upload census data

Active+ solution only, census deadlines: January 31, May 31, September 15 of 2022. Upload through the HR portal.

Continuing The Conversation Tips

Step 5: Continue to follow partner outreach email send schedule

Remember: you are the first and MOST important introduction your employees have to SmartConnect. Please help us to make sure your employees know who we are, what we do, and who we help (even friends and family)!
